Academic / Technical Audio / Indie Development
Syed Assad Abbas Bokhari
Academic, developer, and technical audio practitioner building things likes games and web tools.
01 — About
A little about me.
I work between education, game development, and technical audio, with a particular interest in making complex tools and systems easier to understand, use, and enjoy.
🎓 Academic & Educator
I’m Programme Lead in Games at the University Campus of Esports, where I teach game engines, programming languages, and software development. I enjoy turning technical ideas into clear, practical learning experiences.
🎮 Games Developer
I began in 2012 making Flash games as an audio designer and composer. Since then I’ve moved into implementation, engine work, and tool development. I co-founded Arrogant Pixel in 2015 and now work independently at Piledriver Playhouse.
🔧 Open Source
I build free, practical tools for educators and developers, mainly with C++17, WebAssembly, and PostgreSQL. My open-source work focuses on reducing friction: making technical workflows easier to understand, use, and share.
